Standing stones once rose on arable land sloping toward Lough Swilly, but no stone remains visible today. Graves marked the site instead: one held a foodvessel and scattered bones, the other the skeleton of a small child. The stones may have guided people to those buried places, standing witness above the ground until the land and memory moved on.

Marked as 'Standing Stones' on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map and as 'Standing Stones (site of)' on the 3rd edition. There are no visible remains. It is recorded (NMI) that on the site of these standing stones some 'flagged' graves were found, one c. 2ft square containing a foodvessel and some bones, the other the skeleton of a small child.
