Standing stone in Ballydeenlea is a prostrate triangular stone in Kerry pasture, not a hidden vertical marker. Local information says it was removed from the ground in the 1980s because it was in danger of falling. That much is clear. What is less clear is whether it stood for years, centuries or generations before becoming a warning about weight, rain and time.

In pasture, on a break on a SW-facing slope. The stone (dims. 1.3m x 0.35m; L 2.6m) lies prostrate on the ground. It is triangular in shape with a rounded top. According to local information, it was removed from the ground in the 1980s as it was in danger of falling.
