Standing stone in Ballyboght is a leaning Cork stone caught in bog memory rather than lost to forgetting. Bowman measured it at nearly six feet tall and just under two feet wide, set half a mile from Sean Og's Cross. The exact spot has slipped from human certainty, but the stone still tilts inside the landscape like a sentence waiting for another witness.

One of two standing stones (9884) recorded by Bowman (1934, 567) in this townland; 'In bog c. 500 yds from Sean Og's Cross...5ft 9in by 1ft 10in by 8in, in an inclining position'.
