Standing stone in Ballinvally

Situated at the outer edge of a rock outcrop terrace on a NW-facing slope. This stone is limestone and has a square cross-section (dims 0.47m x 0.41m) with no discernible orientation and a pointed top (H 1.8m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
