What is recorded here

The standing stone vanished from a south-east slope above Trabeg about forty years ago. It is gone now, but the slope still faces the sea and keeps the shape of the loss.

The 'Gallaun' marked on the OS maps was destroyed about 40 years ago (local informaton). It stood on a SE facing slope overlooking Trabeg. The above description is derived from J.
