Ardmoreel standing stone leans northeast like a tired giant, its massive frame tilting over the Laune river. Small stones cluster at its base, perhaps placed by hands that marked time, love or warning. The river still moves beneath the hill, carrying the shape of that lean into the distance.

Located on a hillock overlooking the Laune river, this standing stone inclines very heavily to NE. It measures 3.55m long, 1.8m wide and .95m thick; NW-SE.
