What is recorded here

Ahane Beg holds a broken stone, not a proud pillar. What remains is fourteen inches high and nearly eight feet around, a thick neck of rock cut short by time or violence. It still lies on Tarrant's land, waiting for someone to imagine the hand that struck it or the storm that broke it.

One of two standing stones (9875) recorded by Bowman (1934, 299) on R. Tarrant's land; 'This was broken. The remaining portion is 1ft 4in high by 7ft 8in girth'. Exact location not known.
