Ahane Beg holds one of two standing stones recorded by Bowman in 1934 on R. Tarrant's land. The stone measures 3ft 2in by 8ft 7in girth, yet its exact location has vanished. It may still stand buried under brambles or forgotten fields, waiting for someone to remember the shape of Ahane Beg.
