In a low-lying landscape. Adjacent to the E of holy well (RO045-056001-) is a dry circular well (diam. 1.5m; D 1m) conserved in masonry and approached by steps from the S. The well was conserved in 1984 and it might represent an older form of the well which is still in use and still venerated. St. John's Well is traditionally associated with St. John the Baptist and is linked to healing rituals, particularly for skin ailments and general well-being. The well's conservation in 1984 reflects its ongoing cultural and religious significance in the local area.
