The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to approximately 3000–2500 BCE. It is significant as part of the broader pattern of early ceremonial and funerary architecture in the Western Isles of Scotland.
