SMS König was a German pre-dreadnought battleship scuttled in Scapa Flow, Orkney, on 21 June 1919 by its crew to prevent capture after World War I. The wreck lies in shallow water and is a significant historical and archaeological site, with no reported loss of life during its sinking.
