SMS *Karlsruhe* was a German light cruiser lost in Scapa Flow, Orkney, in 1919 following the scuttling of the German High Seas Fleet by its own crew to prevent capture after World War I. The wreck is part of a historically significant fleet of sunken warships that remains largely intact in Scottish waters.
