SMS B98 was a German *Brummer*-class light cruiser, lost in 1918 during World War I after being damaged in the Battle of the Skagerrak and scuttled by its crew near Sanday, Orkney. The wreck is of historical significance as a remnant of the German High Seas Fleet and provides insight into early 20th-century naval warfare.
