Slishwood Island West

Slishwood Island West is a small islet in County Sligo, Ireland. It is the western twin of a paired island name, the kind of place where seaweed sticks to boots and gulls argue over crumbs. Perhaps fishermen once used it as a marker when the coast vanished into fog, or children walked it at low tide and listened for the sea pulling back like a breath.
