Freestanding red brick hexagonal chimney, erected c.1900. Machine cut red brick and cement mortar.

This chimney was probably erected when the former flour mill was adapted for cotton manufacture. It is an interesting structure in this predominantly eighteenth-century site and is a reminder of the adaptation and change of industrial complexes in the nineteenth and twentieth century. The chimney is a notable feature in the surrounding area, due to the scale and form of the structure.
