What is recorded here

Armadale Castle on Skye wears a rare gift: a surviving 19th-century walled garden beside its newer gardens. The castle belongs to Highland memory, but the garden wall belongs to human patience, building a small warm country inside the storm. That is the shape of the place, not a warning about maps or ownership.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Skye, Armadale Castle, Walled Garden and Gardens as Garden (19th Century), Walled Garden (19th Century).
