What is recorded here

Armadale Castle stands on Skye as a museum for the isles, carrying life from the nineteenth into the twentieth century. Its rooms hold more than stone; they preserve the identity of a whole island world. People may wonder what daily habits, music or arguments filled those chambers before becoming history. The castle still invites that imagination, even when its doors stay closed to ordinary visitors.
