Templeen Church, the little church in County Kerry, lost its stones to a barn but kept its shadow in the grass. A twenty-one-metre line still breaks the soil near the field fence, marking the exact place where worship once gathered before human greed repurposed the holy ground. The graveyard stands above that forgotten shape, holding dead and memory while the church itself becomes only a suggestion beneath the feet.

Templeen Church (An Teampaillín, the little church) (site of), graveyard (KE017-018001-). This church originally lay in the NW corner of the graveyard and it was also known as Teampall Ghort an Chlocháin. Although it was quarried to make way for a barn, slight traces of the foundations can still be traced. About 9m S of the N field fence, a rough line of the church foundations can be seen; it measures 21m long, .5-1 m wide and up to .5m high. Sections of the foundations run 1m N at the W end and 5m at the E end; 8.4m from the W end there would appear to be a partitioning wall that runs N for 4m. The above description is derived from C.
