Killeen Grave Yard is a vanished children's burial ground in flat Galway pasture, remembered only through house foundations that broke small bones and a name that still points at the dead. The land overlooks Brandy Harbour, where the Atlantic throws itself against the coast, giving the place a brutal clarity: tenderness and ferocity share the same horizon. No marker survives, yet the absence does not erase the function. A field can lose every visible trace and still be a grave yard because people kept calling it one.

In flat pastureland overlooking Brandy Harbour and the Athlantic sea to the WNW. McCaffrey (1952, 197, no. 35) records that local people claimed that they found 'human remains' while building houses in the vicinity of a church (GA103-135001-). The 'Killeen' element of the name suggests that it may have been a children's burial ground. No visible surface trace survives.
