A local church dedicated to "Seacht Mhic Rí" (the seven sons of the king), likely built in the early medieval period; its site and graveyard were marked on Ordnance Survey maps from 1840 and 1923, indicating continuity of memory or use. The dedication suggests a possible connection to early Irish Christian tradition or local legend.
