Killavoogue stands on a ridge above two valleys in County Kilkenny, preserving only shallow footings inside a circular graveyard. The missing church likely measured fourteen by seven metres, large enough for genuine gathering rather than private devotion. Wind still moves across the exposed grassland, carrying breath from that forgotten room into the wide sky.

On the E side and just below the crest of a N-S ridge between two valleys, in rolling grassland. There are excellent views in all directions. According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 466), this church is 'known to the local Irish speakers as Killavoogue'. Only the footings (Wth c. 1m; H 0.2-0.4m) of the rectangular church (dims. c. 14m E-W; c. 7m N-S) survive. It is enclosed within a roughly circular graveyard (KK014-021002-).
