What is recorded here
Dún Ceartáin Nó Gleann An Ghad marks a lost castle in County Mayo, perhaps built to watch a narrow valley or protect a local family. The name suggests a fort of certainty or a glen of a sword, giving the ruins an edge of myth. Whatever it guarded, the land has taken it back, leaving only a shape in the grass and a warning in its title.
