What is recorded here

Inside a starving castle on Tory Island, Sir Mulmory MacSweeney stopped defending his fellows and started hunting them, believing severed heads would buy him mercy under Pelham's Pardon. He killed three men before his own knife slipped into his chest, and the chamber filled with a butchery so sudden it stopped breathing. The Crown took the island, pardoned some survivors, and left behind a warning that desperation can turn friendship into a knife.
Siege of Tory Island is a siege in County Donegal, Ireland.
