What is recorded here

Terraced two-bay three-storey house and former shop, built c. 1800. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with replacement uPVC windows with painted sills. Shopfront comprising timber fascia, entablature and chamfered Doric-style pilasters. Square-headed opening with replacement uPVC window and rendered riser. Square-headed opening having overlight and timber panelled double doors.
The scale and form of this building is in keeping with the terrace, thereby making a positive contribution to the streetscape. The simple shopfront is a notable feature as shopfronts such as this are increasingly threatened by pastiche replacements.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
