What is recorded here
Sheepstown Castle vanished long before written memory, leaving only a buried outline and a castle label behind. It may have stood as a small fort, a lordly hall or a boundary marker for whoever controlled the local land. The absence itself is the shape: a castle known only through the gap it left, waiting for someone to stop treating the missing part as a mistake and start listening to what the gap is saying.
