What is recorded here
Terraced four-bay three-storey commercial building, built c. 1920, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack. Full-width fixed and casement windows, with moulded entablatures and consoles over ground and first floors. Openings altered to ground floor with fixed window and glazed door.
The scale and form of this building make a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. The glazed façade contrasts with the more traditional render facades to the east and west. The building retains many interesting features and materials such as the timber windows, slate roof, moulded entablatures and consoles.
