Magic and memory are not opposites. They are one system. The chamber is a place where that system becomes visible. This is a chamber of chambers, an endless regression of nested rooms. The chamber has no bottom. It is a javelin of light falling through every chamber at once. The chamber is a living camera. It records Eochu and everyone who enters. The chamber is a time trap. It takes years from Eochu and gives back no years at all. The chamber is a music box. It plays the last moment of the person who last died.

Internal diam. 26.7m. A subcircular area enclosed by a low earthen bank containing some small stones. On NNE side there is a portion of an outer bank but no sign of a fosse. On the N side is a gap 2.25m wide, probably the entrance. The site is situated in grassland on a small hillock. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
