Shanganagh Cemetery

Shanganagh Cemetery occupies fifty acres south of Shankill, holding the graves of Irish leaders Garret FitzGerald and Albert Reynolds beside ordinary residents. The railway cuts through the site like a scar, separating the Dublin Road section from the eastern field while Shanganagh Park watches from the north. Two hundred thousand square metres of dark soil remember that even prime ministers must stop walking and lie down with everyone else.
