What is recorded here
Four houses clustered in Ballyglass townland, County Mayo, on a 1701 map. They vanished before anyone wrote their names, but the angle of that cluster still leans into the valley like a forgotten sentence.
This record refers to a cluster of four houses marked in Ballyglass townland on a 1701 'Trustees Survey' map (National Library of Ireland microfilm, no. 645, p. 31). The exact location of the houses is unknown.
