Sanday, Knowe of Yarrow

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Sanday, Knowe of Yarrow as Barrow (bronze Age)(possible), Cist (bronze Age), Cremation (bronze Age), Cinerary Urn (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Bronze Age barrow and cist, dating to approximately 2000–800 BCE. This site is significant as it reflects burial practices and funerary rites of early Bronze Age communities in Orkney.
