What is recorded here

An unknown hand built the round cairn in Legananny before written history began. Stones still circle the place where people watched weather, marked loss or measured the sky. The builder is gone, but the circle remains patient enough to invite curiosity.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as ROUND CAIRN. Recorded period: PREHISTORIC. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
