Rogerstown Castle stands ruined in County Kilkenny, a tower house reduced to ghosts rather than chambers. Its walls may have held families, fears and feasts, though time has erased the names and events that shaped them. What remains is a shape in the earth, waiting for someone to imagine the life it once contained.

Rogerstown Castle was built in the 17th century by the Belline family, a Huguenot family who settled in Ireland after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes. The castle is remembered as a notable example of early Huguenot architecture and settlement in Ireland.
