Cast-iron water pump, c.1885, comprising of two cylinders with pumping arm, attached to a timber pier.
This water pump is an interesting feature of Rock House and survives of as a reminder of the practical side of nineteenth century life. Though some elements have been replaced, the pump retains its original pumping handle and timber pier.
