Corstown (fore By.) holds a large erratic on the SW-facing slope of Carnbane East, marked by a single weathered cupmark and an arc of a circle at the NE edge. Someone once tried to split the stone, perhaps wanting to move or destroy it, but the markings survived. The failed violence and remaining art suggest the place resisted forgetting.

This large erratic is on the SW-facing slope of Carnbane East and its art has been fully recorded by Shee Twohig (et al. 2010, 11). An attempt had been made to split the stone and a single weathered cupmark and an arc of a circle have been recognised at the NE edge of the upper surface.
