What is recorded here
Situated on the S ridge of the Little Sugar Loaf with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The summit of the Little Sugar Loaf lies 200m to the N. Rock outcrop the surface of which is decorated with a double left-hand spiral (ext. diam. 0.1m) which appears to be connected by a faint line formed a running spiral pattern. The rock outcrop lies beside a well-worn walking trail. Peck or punch marks are visible in the execution of the spiral pattern. The antiquity of these carvings appears to be modern and could have been carved in recent times.
