Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom was the longest-reigning monarch in British history, symbolizing continuity and stability during significant social and political changes. Philip Mountbatten OM was the Duke of Edinburgh and consort to Queen Elizabeth II, known for his support of the queen and numerous charitable causes.
