Robert Henry Charles was born in Cookstown, County Tyrone, on 6th August 1855, the doctor’s son who would become Westminster’s sharpest Bible mind. He decoded Daniel and Revelation until a road accident broke his body in 1929, yet his writings still cut through centuries of mist. Buried beside Mary Lilias in the north cloister, he remains Westminster’s rare Irish voice, preserving truth long after the stone stopped echoing.
