What is recorded here

Friar's Walk was a raised walkway running north to south in the garden of the former Bishop's Palace. It was tree lined, with a number of very old yew trees and more recently planted (pre-1830s) with elm (O'Curry 1838, 31-2). The precise location of the monument is unknown.
