What is recorded here

The site (L 0.89m min.; Wth 1.31m; D 0.03m min.) consists of a single piece of heavy brushwood and over twenty pieces of light brushwood and probably represents the remains of a largely destroyed hurdle panel. The light brushwood is very densely laid and set at right angles to the larger piece. A small patch of irregularly deposited mixed brushwood lies 0.2m apart from this material but this is probably due to disturbance. The site orientation could not be determined. The wood is in poor condition due to machine damage and exposure. This site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with pockets of Eriophorum. SMR WM034-014---- lies 1.8m to the SW.
