What is recorded here

The site (Wth 3.08m; D 0.46m) is composed of a dispersed arrangement of mixed brushwood, roundwoods with a portion of a radially split plank and a peg also present. The site was evident in the drain face and the lighter elements may consequently have suffered damage or displacement. All of the wood was in good condition apart from the plank. The site was in well-humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum and Phragmites. This site was situated within 5m of SMR OF007-332----. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin). Date of upload: 23 May 2011
