What is recorded here

The site (L 3m; Wth 1.6m) consists of a roundwood, twelve pieces of heavy brushwood and two planks, irregularly laid 2-3 layers deep. Woodworking is evidenced by branch-trimming on most elements, a number of worked ends and a broken perforation on one of the pieces of heavy brushwood. The planks are radially and tangentially split, respectively, and both have toolmarks. The site is situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Further heavy brushwood with metal toolmarks is located in the opposing drain face but its association is unclear. The site is located c. 3m N of SMR OF007-140----.
