What is recorded here

This two-layered togher (Wth 3.5m; D 0.5m), orientated E-W, was composed of brushwood (diam. 0.03-0.044m) and roundwood (av. diam. 0.06m). A superstructure consisted of a layer of longitudinal hazel brushwood, which was seven pieces deep. The substructure consisted of a tightly packed layer of ash brushwood and roundwood laid longitudinally and transversely. A single roundwood (diam. 0.068m) displayed a very slow growth pattern with more than 50 growth rings visible.
