What is recorded here

The site (L 13.7m; Wth 6.1m; D 0.08m min.) is orientated N-S and consists of roundwoods, brushwood and pegs with occasional twigs. The elements are regularly and densely laid, orientated NE-SW and NW-SE, forming a criss-cross surface. Four metal-cut toolmarks are present. The wood is in poor to moderate condition. The site lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat with small pockets of Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. SMR OF010-390---- lies 0.4m to the NW.
