What is recorded here

Ring-ditch in Sliguff, County Carlow, is one of two close ring-ditches revealed by cropmark in an aerial photograph. The soil remembers a circular ditch even when the surface forges it into ordinary farmland. Two rings nearby suggest a small repeated purpose, perhaps a boundary, a ritual marker or a domestic claim, though no surviving name records the hands that dug them.
