What is recorded here

Rincolisky Castle stands as a truncated two-storey ruin on a Cork headland because Townsends stripped its upper floors to build Whitehall House. The bay still roars beside the stones, keeping the boy lost in the hidden tunnel and the O'Driscoll pride that first shaped them.
An Ó Driscoll castle. Rinn Chúil Uisce can be interpreted as the the headland on the corner by the water.
Rincolisky Castle was built by the Ó Driscoll (O'Driscoll) clan, an influential Gaelic family in medieval Ireland, and dates to the early medieval period. It is remembered as a strategic stronghold associated with the Ó Driscoll rulers of the Barony of Cloyne in County Cork.
