What is recorded here

Richard Meade, 3rd Earl of Clanwilliam, was born in County Dublin on 15 August 1795, the only son of the second earl and an Austrian countess. He lost his father young, moved through Vienna and England, and entered diplomacy under Lord Castlereagh. When Castlereagh killed himself, Meade helped secure an official funeral in Westminster Abbey and later represented Britain in Berlin. He lived until 1879, carrying that sudden loss into a long career of European negotiation.
