Attached two-bay three-storey with dormer attic former house, built c. 1780, forming a pair with building to south-east, now in use as shop and having recent timber shopfront to ground floor. Pitched slate roof with dormer window. Rendered walls with square-headed openings having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Timber shopfront to ground floor comprising fluted engaged columns flanking openings with fluted brackets and timber fascia above. Square-headed opening with plate glass windows having timber surrounds, concrete sill and rendered stall riser. Square-headed opening with timber glazed door. Fronts directly onto street.
This building forms a pair and together their regular and tall facades form an imposing feature on the streetscape. Features such as the timber sash windows contribute to its character.
