In Youghal c. 120m SW of North Main St. Orme (1964-8, 122-49, fig. 3) mentioned that a line of structures on Gillit's Hill were established for Cromwell's soldiers. These were destroyed during the 1980s and new houses built on the site.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
