What is recorded here

Tuskar Rock stands off County Wexford as a small island bearing a lighthouse built between 1812 and 1815. George Halpin Senior designed the structure after Daniel Asher Alexander's South Stack Lighthouse, creating a bell-shaped silhouette of silver-grey Dalkey granite. The tower survived storms, changed from oil to electric light in 1938, and became automated in 1993. It still marks the coast, translating human ambition into a flame visible across dark water.
