Castle Crag is a prominent rocky outcrop in the English Lake District, rising to approximately 270 metres. It is composed of volcanic tuff and is part of the Borrowdale Volcanic Group, formed during the Ordovician period. The crag is historically significant as a site associated with the defensive structures of the pre-Roman Iron Age.
